The fact that Nikitta Angus has lost her mother to cancer has been well documented throughout the X Factor series so far. Howver what many of you won’t be aware of is that Nikitta also lost her step father just a few months later.

“Nikitta and her mum were close, like two peas in a pod,” her aunt told the Daily Record. “They were like best friends, but somehow Nikitta coped when Linda passed away.

“I think when you know someone’s going to die, you start grieving immediately and prepare for it. Then she had to take on the death of her stepdad. Nikitta and Danny were close and she was so upset when she died but, again, took it in her stride.”
