X Factor singers Olly Murs and Danyl Johnson are said to be caught up in a bitter feud, which has seen them nearly come to blows over the last few weeks.

Olly is said to be envious of the attention Danyl receives from their mentor Simon Cowell and of rumoured plans to launch Danyl in America once the series ends.

The bad feeling boiled over a few weeks ago when the pair squared up to each other, luckily Jamie Archer was there to calm things down.

A source told The Sunday Mirror: “The argument got so bad the others were convinced they were about to have a punch-up – they squared up to each other.

“But Jamie quickly calmed Danyl down before it could get out of hand.”

Jamie Archer put an arm around Danyl, saying: “Come on Dan, we’re going out to get some food.”

The source added: “Things have been unbearable since. They don’t speak.”
