X Factor: Olly Murs, JLS and One Direction nominated for Brit Awards 2012 – Matt Cardle and Rebecca Ferguson snubbed

The Brit Awards nominations have been announced that former X Factor stars seem to be well represented in the list.

In the Best British Single category alone, former runner up Olly Murs has been nominated for his single “Heart Skips a Beat”, while JLS – who finished in second place back in 2008 – have received a nod for their track “She Makes Me Wanna”.

Four piece boyband One Direction – who finished in third place in 2010 – have also been nominated for their record breaking debut single “What Makes You Beautiful.”

However, Matt Cardle will have been disappointed to realise that his single ‘Run For Your Life’ didn’t get a mention and neither did the first effort of Rebecca Ferguson, ‘Nothing’s Real But Love.’

The most recent winners of the ITV show – Little Mix- were eligible for nomination in the Best British Single category, for their winner’s single “Cannonball” but they were not put forward for an award.

Meanwhile bookies have stopped taking bets that Adele will scoop the Best British Female Award and are predicting that the ‘Someone Like You’ hitmaker will walk away with three gongs on the night.

The best single is based on sales and airplay so they had to include Olly, One Direction and JLS. It has nothing to do with talent or credibility! The Brits is a joke anyway… how on earth is Professor Green nominated for best male??? His album was such a flop :P

Rebecca Ferguspon fatest selling female artist of 2011, platinum album, why is he not nominated. Nicola Roberts offered a brilliant solo effort no nominations, it’s not about music, it’s a bloody popularity contest with a few credible names dropped in like Laura Marling and Kate Bush.
