X Factor contestant Olly Murs once took part in Channel 4 gameshow Deal Or No Deal, unfortunately he only won £10.

The Daily Star Sunday reports that Murs appeared on the show in 2007 but rejected an offer of £20,000 and ended up with only a tenner.

Noel Edmonds reportedly called it “the most appalling run of luck in the history of the game”.

“My mates were all singing, ‘Ten pounds, you only won ten pounds’ to me and I got plenty of stick,” Murs said. “I just say to them that I went on TV and they didn’t.

“I’d love to say I won more but I can’t lie, can I?”
