We were just remarking in the office last week, that Simon Cowell hadn’t sprung any big X Factor surprises on us this year, then this news erupted today.

Reports suggest that Mr Cowell is planning to evict one of the three remaining singers on Saturday night’s show, with the final two battling it out for the title on Sunday evening.

On Saturday night’s show Olly Murs will sing with Robbie Williams, Joe McElderry will duet with George Michael and Stacey Solomon will perform Michael Buble. The three wil also perform a solo Christmas track before the first elimination.
