X Factor: presenters told to back John and Edward Grimes
A document leaked to The Sun, has suggested that X Factor presenters have been told to back John and Edward Grimes.
In a bid to stop the hate campaign, X Factor bosses reportedly sent a memo to Holly Willoughby, Dermot O’Leary and PR staff saying it would “be great to defend John and Edward.”
A source said: “Bosses didn’t expect the twins to get such a bad reaction from the public. They want people on their side.”
The memo also told the presenters to toe the party line, on issues like judge rivalry and Louis Walsh’s predictions that his category will lose.
The source added: “Even Simon Cowell was annoyed with what Louis said. He made it sound as if he didn’t care about his acts. Producers don’t want viewers to think that.”

What difference do they think having Dermot and Holly say they like the Grime Twins will make? The public are not idiots they know who they like or don’t like and are not going to change their opinion because Dermot and Holly say they like them, especially as we all know they say what the producers tell them to.
people who have alot of hate should have sympathy I am talking about people who write negative things about these boys. They are obviously sad people the boys were put through each stage. its not their fault. instead of being angry which is bad for a person turn your anger into love and donate money to a good cause like africa or something.. love love john lennon would turn in his grave if he knew the british people had so much anger. how come they dont come out like this about the war.
I HATE JOHN AND EDWARD !!!!!!!! this competition is supposed 2 be about talent. i dont no wat louis was thinking when he put them through !! and who put them through in their very first audition ?!!
This is all wrong! This is providing the platform for giving two clownish no-talents the biggest fall of their lives. I think they should rename the show the Y-Factor – Y oh Y are John and Edward still in the race?
