X Factor’s Rachel Adedeji has reportedly been approached about signing a record deal which will link her with singing sensation, Rihanna.

Rachel has found herself in the bottom two acts in the first two X Factor shows and if she finishes in a low spot, she won’t be bound to Simon Cowell’s record company. Former winner Alexandra Burke is thought to have vouched for Rachel and music scouts working for Rihanna are said to be organising a meet up in LA.

A friend told The Sun: “Rachel is hugely excited. She couldn’t believe there was that level of interest in her.

“She loves Rihanna and even modelled her looks and hairdo on her.”

The source added: “Alex has been instrumental, and vouched for Rachel’s talent and capability.

“It’s not a done deal by any means, but it would be a huge break. Rachel’s very nervous about working with such big stars.”
