X Factor: Rachel Hylton SACKS Dannii Minogue?
The Mirror has just reported that X factor contestant, Rachel Hylton has sacked her mentor Dannii Minogue today.
Anyone who saw Rachel’s furious face on the Xtra Factor, after she narrowly survived being in the bottom two last week, will know how upset she is at nearly getting the boot.
It seems like now she is blaming her mentor for her near departure and refusing to have anything more to do with her.
A source told The Mirror: “There have been some differences of opinion between acts and judges before, but not to this level.
“There is total breakdown
in communication between the two girls with Rachel ultimately feeling Dannii is failing her.
“She is desperate to win the competition but she feels she has no chance if Dannii keeps giving her the wrong tracks to perform.
“It has been bubbling under for weeks, ever since Dannii gave her the Robyn track Every Heartbeat to sing which really didn’t complement her amazing voice.
“But it was the final straw when she ended up in the bottom two. She demanded Dannii had to go.”
If this story is true, Rachel will now be the first X Factor contestant allowed to perform on the show without a mentor……groundbreaking stuff eh?
However this decision may just backfire on Rachel. She already has a poor reputation with the British public, and many view her as bad tempered and difficult. If she ends up in the bottom two again she cannot now rely on Dannii Minogue’s vote to help bail her out. This may just come back to bite her in the upcoming weeks!

She chose her own song a few weeks ago and she sang that badly as well. She chose her own song to sing when she was in the bottom two and she sang that awful so why blame Danni. Her problem is she thinks she is already famous and acts like a Diva. I think during the auditions the judges told her she was good and then by the final 12 it was obvious that there are a lot better than her in the competition and she does not like it. Get over yourself Rachel, if she got a recording contract will she be telling them what to do, she is a nightmare.

Do not like Rachel, the judges keep banging on about raw talent but I haven’t heard her give one good performance on the live shows??!!
She was gobby in the auditions and she still has an attitude. Whatever you might think of Danni – she knows a damn site more than Rachel!!

I cannot believe that Rachel is still in the competition with people much better and with less attitude leaving. The song she sang when Laura went out was way out of tune and soulless. She is not in the same league as Laura. Hope she goes this week. She needs teaching a lesson!
