X Factor: Rachel Hylton Screams At Simon Cowell!!

X Factor auditionee, Rachel Hylton, has stunned music moghul, Simon Cowell, by acreaming at him during the recent bootcamp stage of the show.
A source told The Sun: “Rachel has an attitude, to say the least, and Simon called her out on it when she was on stage at boot camp.
“He made some comments about her performance and Rachel got lippy, Simon told her to keep the cheek down.
“But Rachel didn’t take too kindly to Simon’s comments and she snapped. She yelled back at him and was in a real huff.”

To be honest, if she can’t take critism by Simon Cowell, then she shouldn’t be on the X-Factor. He’s always said something to everybody it just depends on how they take it. Not to mention Simon has a good sence of humour and if he got offended then she probably does have an attitude problem.
This must be a strange thing for Rachel, having grown up in an atmosphere where anyone who criticizes you is out to hurt you. She needs to learn that not everyone wants to tear you down when they tell you where you need a kick up the butt. I’m glad the judges gave her that scare at boot camp. I think she’ll learn a lot from this.
Personally I think you have to remember this. She has been damaged by life. Ok it doesn’t excuse behavior but in some respects I agree with Newbunkle, she has to learn that not everyone out here is crap, or out to make as much as they can from others suffering. This isn’t about power or domination but she thinks it is…and I don’t believe it is her fault. She needs help and kindness to understand these energies exist in the real world too.
I think she has REALLY good voice too and an undercurrent of magic around her, with help she will go far.
they are over reacting she didnt shout at him.. she was defending herself and other contestants… if she didnt tell the piano man that the music was going to fast i would have ruined her performance and she would have got bad comments from simon and the other judges anyway…
… Nikki, the song WASN’T going too fast, its just she couldnt keep up. As Simon clearly stated, she “cocked up” the song. It happens, and if she cant take critism, she shouldnt be on the show, regardless of how well she can sing. Do we really want another drugged up Amy Winehouse to get boo’d at reading festival and to take over the media???
Oh, and “She has been damaged by life” is a crap excuse.
I’m 17 and my dad died just over a year ago. I don’t go around, doing drugs and ****ing everything up. I’ve never even smoked. So if she messed up her own life, X-Factor shouldn’t help her, unless she geninuley is a good enough singer (Which in the current proceddings, seems to be the case. (apolgise for spelling mistakes, can’t be bothered to check.)

As Simon put it, she did “cock up”, and it is fair to say, although he was giving Rachel good advice, she clearly doeasn’t handle constructive critism very well. Her life has been characterised by a lot of negativity which may be the reason for this. Hopefully she will learn from this (sooner rather that later). Come on – everyone deserves a chance. More importantly people are indivulals and that’s what makes us unique and bearing that in mind, people cope with life stresses differently. She is an excellent singer, and like Louis pointed out in the audition, ” a bit of a rough diamond”. Good luck Rachel, hope you go all the way xx

The whole sob story about “i got involved in crime,i have 5 kids, first at 13, 3 are in care” she is using that to get votes. Psshhh, these are more reasons why she should not be on the show.
Here ya go rachel you fucked up your life, you got involved in crime etc but forget all that be on teh x-factor.
I hope she is quickly booted off and quickly forgotten about, truely underserving.
If Rachel has taken Cannabis she should be kicked off! She’s supposed to have turned over a new leaf and turned her back on her past. I know a woman exactly like her and done pretty much the same things etc. Guess what? She’s also back on Cannabis which is a dangerous and illegal substance and rapidly going back to her former ways.

If anyone who knows Rachel is reading this, point her to Aretha Franklin’s Don’t Play That Song For Me. THIS is the sort of powerful, edgy soul she should be belting out in order to leave all rivals standing; but Aretha-style, NOT Mariah Carey-style. What was Dannii thinking of giving her such a wimpy song??? Simon was spot on with the lemonade/petrol in a Ferrari analogy and hopefully lessons have been learned…
rachel doesnt deserve to be there she has an attiutde, isnt a god singer or preformer plus her sob story is riduculous shes a slit and a druggy and she expects sympathy for making her own decisions she had 5 kids any normal person would learn to be safe after the first one but shes too stupid and shes beena drug addict for what? 12 years all the problems she has in life are her own damn fault she should be in jail not on a reality show

All I wanted to say is that regardless of what Rachel has done in the past (and its not good) her voice is UNBELIEVABLE. How anyone can not listen to her and hear the talent must be on a differnt planet.
I remember in the first Pop Idol Marc Dillon was booted out because he assaulted someone in Scotland when he was 17. Why is Rachel still there? She also beat someone up and is a thief!!!! Supposing she won… will she pay compensation to her victims? Get her out!
SHE SHOULD BE BOOTED OFF THE PROGRAME, SHE IS DISPLAYING SYMPTOMS OF DRUG ABUSE. GIVE SOMEONE ELSE WHO DESERVES IT THE CHANCE!
