Being an X Factor runner up isn’t all its cracked up to be. You go from having every minute of every day planned out for you before the shows final, then the day after the show ends the staff are nowhere to be seen, and no one wants to know you.
A journalist from Same Difference’s local newspaper happened to be with the duo on the morning after the grand finale, and told us that Sarah and Sean looked completely lost. They didn’t know if they should stay in the hotel or get ready to go home, and the X Factor crew that had been constantly with them for months had all suddenly disappeared.
Sean Smith, the brother of the band told The Daily Star:
“The day after the final was a massive anti-climax,” he said. “Leon was whisked off – but we were just left to clear our stuff and go.
“If our grandad hadn’t picked us up we’d have had to get the train home.”
I don’t know about the rest of you, but that sounds absolutely heart breaking to me. They might as well have left them a note saying:
“You’ve done your job, now p**s away off the lot of ya!”

Just to set the record straight. Rhydian has signed to a 1 milion contract with Simon Cowell to date and will get the opportunity to work with Jim Steinman a chief songwriter from a few decades ago who is also reponsible for many serious rock hits and rock ballads plus power anthems from both past and present.
Same difference have attracted Walt Disney to listen to them and work may be forthcoming in the future.
