X Factor finalist Robert Allen has revealed that it is thoughts of his unborn baby inspring him to succeed in thsi years X Factor competition.

Former hospital worker Robert, whose girlfriend Samia is due to give birth in December, told The Sun: “I want to do as best as I can for my baby. I want to inspire my child and other children.

“I can’t wait to be the father of a child and I want to pass my knowledge onto him or her.

“The X Factor experience has been overwhelming but being away from my girlfriend while she’s pregnant has been tough. I’m going to miss her a lot while I stay in The X Factor house in north London with the other finalists.�

He added: “My family and friends are ecstatic about me getting through to the final as we have lost a couple of loved ones in the past year so this has been a bit of good news for us all.�
