X Factor: Rozelle Phillips Travels 4,500 Miles To Audition

*Update: I have just watched Rozelle’s performance and I am a little confused. I liked Rozelle and she had a good voice, but I wasn’t floored by her performance and I don’t get why the judges raved about her so much. Louis gave her a million per cent of a yes, but I think I would have offered only sixty per cent, if even.*
Hoping to impress all four of the judges on tomorrow night’s X Factor, is someone who has travelled 4,500 miles to audition, Rozelle Phillips.
Dermot – “What’s your name?”
Rozelle – “My name is Rozelle.”
Dermot – “I’m in love already, where are you from?”
Rozelle – “I’m from Trinidad in Tobago.”
Dermot – “Oh, that accent is beautiful.”
Rozelle – “I moved to the UK last year because we have no other competitions like The X Factor back home, I used to watch The X Factor on the internet back home, I loved Leona Lewis and thought I had to come to the UK. No way I was letting that pass me by. My Grandma said you go for it
Rozelle. My Grandma brought me up, she did so much for me, it was hard for her to let me come to England because we’re so close but she let me go because she wanted me to achieve my dream and she knew how much it meant to me, today I will do it for her and myself.”
Rozelle walks on stage and chats to Dannii.
Rozelle – “My dream is to sing in front of millions of people and be known world-wise and know that my Grandma is pushing me all the way, I’m singing ‘One Night Only’ by Jennifer Hudson.”
Can Rozelle make her dreams come true and make her Grandma proud?
