Ryan Idzi, the man who has served six years in the army, made it through to X Factor bootcamp. I liked Ryan and concede that he has a good story, but to be honest he never had the calibre of voice that is needed to win the X Factor.

On tinight’s show we see Ryan tell Dermot “this is a life changing event for me, I want it so much.”

However, Ryan’s performance didn’t go as well as he hoped and nerves get the better of him when he forgot the words to his song.

Simon commented “Part of me thinks as a mentor I’d like to take him under my wing and teach him how to sing and perform.”

Correct me if I’m wrong but I didn’t think that was the idea behind this show.
