Samantha Brookes has admitted that she is terrified about performing on tomorrow night’s X Factor show.

The Welsh singer has spent the last two days at Fountain Studios in Wembley, rehearsing for the third live episode of the ITV series, however perhaps things have not been going too well.

The theme of this week’s show is rock, and we don’t know if it’s a genre that sits well with the crooner that Gary Barlow last week compared to a ‘cruise ship singer.’

Admitting she is suffering from nerves on Twitter, Sami told her followers this morning:

I am so nervous about this weekend x off we go to rehursals xx please vote for me xx I need all the votes I can get xxxx thank u all so x [sic]

She added:

I hope u all like my song this week xx I wanna say thank u all so much for voting for me xxx u really will neva no wot it means x

But Brookes is looking forward to one thing this weekend, meeting her idol Kelly Clarkson. The American Idol star will be performing on Sunday night’s results show – as will Professor Green and Bruno Mars – and Sami told her fans:

I just can’t wait for kelly clarkson to be on the show I am more than a huge fan I have every album x she is my dream duet x omg x lv her
