The X factor security was intensified around X Factor judge, Sharon Osbourne, last night as she attended the X factor final wearing £500,000 of borrowed jewelery.

A source told The People: “Sharon insisted that she would be the queen of the show. She loves her diamonds and wanted her final night on the show to be the biggest and the best. There was no way anyone would risk anything happening to Sharon or the jewellery.

“Security was stepped up just to be extra cautious. Security have always got a close eye on Sharon but with that much ‘bling’, things were stepped up.”
