Tonight I was WOWED by teenager Shanna Goodhead on ITV’s X Factor.

The teenager showed up at the London auditions and despite her nerves, impressed the panel greatly.

She told the judges:

“My name’s Shanna, I’m 18 years old.”

“I live in a council house in London with my mum and 4 sisters, I share a room with two of my sisters and my mum also shares a room with another of my little sisters. My singing will help me escape and give them something better, this could be the most important day of my life, I have to fulfil my dream and help me family,” says Shanna.

Shanna then launched into her version of Eva Cassidy’s Songbird.

As she finished Dannii Minogue couldn’t quite believe what she heard and raved:

“You first came out and you were nervous, it seemed like you were sad. I can see you want this badly, I want you to know how good you are at singing and how much these people love you.”

She got four yes’s, deservedly, and will no doubt show up at a later date on the show.
