X Factor: Sharon Osbourne Is Too Pushy Says Chenai Zinyuku
X FACTOR judge Sharon Osbourne has been branded a pushy prima donna by Chenai Zinyuku. Chenai made it through to X factor bootcamp in 2004 and was one of the final twelve acts in last years show.
Chenai Zinyuku claimed Sharon issued a host of demands for last year’s live finals of the ITV1 show. Chenai, 21, said: “She demanded the largest dressing room and told them how she wanted it decorated. She was only in it for a few hours but she wanted new carpets in a certain colour and everything custom-made.”
Chenai, who has struggled to launch a pop career, also claimed Simon Cowell takes little or no interest in the artists in his group.
And in a warning to other contestants, she added: “I thought everyone would love me after X Factor but you just don’t get taken seriously.”

I liked this lady and she’s right . A lot of people will only love you while the programme is on, after that they move on to other people and programmes.
Thats a shame, I think she should go to the USA as she might get a better chance over there.

Er….. I think she would NOT make it in USA cos she doesn’t even have what it takes to get a PROPER record deal here in U.K. even after all the publicity she got from the x factor. Its harder to make it in the USA. How much more of a chance does a person need than to be on primetime tv every week singing live with the whole works. ? there are people making it big without all that here– look at Joss Stone, Katie Melhua, Corinne Bailey Rae.. they have what Chenia doesnt have– true talent and true star quality. So does Shron Osborne, this girl is clearly jealous and bitter.

You are right in a way that someone given so much exposure to show their talent every week is still struggling.
But her niche market may not be in Britain, so I dont believe in writing someone off because they cannot make it in the UK.
sharon osbourne has been in the entertainment game , well before chenai was born. As the song says its not where you start its where you finish.
Chenai has plenty of time and has a lovely voice, because she has not made it in the first year after X-factor, doesnt mean she wont eventually realise her goal if we dont dismiss her as a failure at 20 yrs old.
It takes time to nuture talent, sometimes reality shows give us the impression you are a star over night. You are famous and well known, but you aint a star.
I wish Chenai and other former x-factor and pop idol contestants all the best luck and they should just keep trying.

Point taken, however a lot of people really disliked her nasal singing style and poor pronunciation etc, and there are other singers far better than her even at an ealrier age. the trouble is she would need a whole other opprotunity to get herself exposed in usa or here and she hasnt managed to get the backing that would take even with the amount of attention she has been given during the show. most talent show winners never mind the losers dispappear for good as far as successful musical careers go after the first year. why should she be different, specially now that there are better people coming up in the new show. and biting the hand that fed you (sharon) to make a quick buck by talking to a cheap rag like the People is not the way to give other powerful people the idea you’d be good to work with. Just my thoughts meh.
