SIMON COWELL has apologised to Jamelia after he called her a “one-hit wonder”.

Jamelia upset Cowell when she was quoted as saying X Factor finalist, LEONA LEWIS sounded like “MARIAH CAREY circa 1990″.

In response, Cowell fumed, “My advice would be to have a second hit and then you can have an opinion.”

However, Jamelia insists she has nothing but positive things to say about the X Factor winner.

Jamelia says, “I did not say anything against Leona. Simon Cowell was very silly believing what he read about what I had apparently said. But he called me and apologised for what he said.”
