X Factor: Simon Cowell bans contestants from talking about scandal

Simon Cowell has reportedly laid down the law with his X Factor contestants. The music moghul is said to have banned all remaining acts from talking about his decision to save John and Edward Grimes last week.
The Daily Star quotes Olly Murs as saying: “I can’t say anything, they won’t let me.” Lloyd Daniels said: “I’m not allowed to say anything, sorry.”
An insider told the newspaper that Simon Cowell will most likely address the issue on Saturday night’s show, but is unlikely to apologise. He said:
“Simon will only hold his hands up if he thinks he’s done something seriously wrong. He’s sorry so many people are upset but stands by his decision to send the result to dead lock and see who the nation wanted out.” But he added: “When Simon lays down the law only someone stupid would think about breaking it.
“The whole thing is getting a bit out of hand and Simon doesn’t want to make things worse with contestants mouth- ing off about the scandal.
“He runs a tight ship and they have been warned there will be serious consequences if they discuss anything outside the X Factor family.”

So Cowells into censorship as well?
Simon cannot ban them from speaking forever. We will have more clues about what really happened last week once one of the remaining 5 contestants gets eliminated this Sunday.
If Simon is not sorry for what he did what is the point of him saying anything. He is not going to admit that he is so desparate for Danyl to win and knows that he is not the most talented singer in the competition that he will do anything to get rid of Dannii’s girls as they are the biggest threat to the boys. Well he has underhandedly succeeded to get rid of Rachel and Lucie when in both instances they were the better singers in the night. I have never known the deadlock be used so often or deliberately as this year.
I also feel sorry for Olly and Jamie as they are both better singers than Danyl but are being treated as second rate by Simon, look at the way he changes Jamie’s songs at the last minute why doesn’t he listen to him on the Monday, because he wants to undermine him and show him who is boss because he dared to have an opinion and speak it. Never mind Danyl is like a puppet that can be controlled and this is probably what Simon likes, act sad and get the sympathy vote so Danyl does it !!!!!!!
Simon sort yourself out because between you and Louis you are destroying X-Factor.
Why is Simon Cowell so scared to let the other singers talk because he knows he was a coward and out of order and doesn’t want it confirmed by the contestants. I have lost all respect for Simon Cowell and even though it might be his company it does not mean it’s all about him and what he wants, when he is a judge he should have no more power thatn any of the others.
Simon Cowell is a coward and a bully. Letting the decision go to deadlock two weeks in a row was a travesty and seeing two of the best singers go was only in the best interests of this ass. Judges are there to judge on talent when it comes to the bottom two acts; that’s their job because we all know that the public often votes for people who aren’t as talented. I’ve never seen such a debacle; so a few hundred thousand hormonal, angst-ridden teenie boppers vote for JedWard 10 times each . . . is that really the view of the UK public, who likely vote once (maybe twice) for their favorite? There should be a limit of one vote per telephone . . . let’s see then who goes to the bottom two. I hope Danyl is out soon so that Simon’s smug look can be slapped off his face. I used to respect the man (to a point) but not anymore. It’s all about poor little Simon . . . not at all about young people trying to live their dreams. He’s a mean-spirited idiot (I don’t care how much money he donates or animals he saves). Cowell, you’ve achieved your dreams . . . shut up and go home.
