X Factor boss Simon Cowell has reportedly called a crisis meeting with his fellow judges, in a bid to smooth things over and put an end to their recent feuds.
Cheryl and Louis publicly fell out on the show last week, after he blasted the Girls Aloud singer saying:
‘It’s not all about you Cheryl!’
After a week of bitching, in which Simon also hit out at ‘imperious’ Dannii Minogue, the music mogul summoned all of the panel members to his dressing room last night and an insider told The News Of The World:
“It turned into some sort of bizarre counselling session, with Simon trying to smooth things over.
“He was shocked at how serious the divisions had become.
“The two camps – Simon and Cheryl versus Louis and Dannii – hate each other.”
During the meeting, Cheryl Cole reportedly told over 28’s mentor Louis:
“If you say one more thing, I won’t be able to control what I say. It will all kick off.”
She later told an insider:
“Sometimes it gets so bad I just have to leave the studio. I can’t stay in there for another moment.
“I won’t talk to anyone after the show. I’ll just leave. It’s serious and I get hurt.
“I hate what’s going on at the moment. It scares me.
“This show is meant to be about the contestants, but the atmosphere is so scary.
“I don’t even like going on the Xtra Factor any more because so much is said between Simon and Louis. It makes me uncomfortable.”
Simon and Louis were visibly angry with one another last night and on The Xtra Factor, reporter Dan Wootton revealed that they had earlier engaged in a heated argument over the future of girl band Belle Amie.
It was nice to see Simon being more civil to Dannii though, it seems like he, if nobody else, was making a bit of an effort last night.
