Simon Cowell is said to be carrying out massive renovations in his LA home and in a bid to quieten complaining neighbours, upset by the noise and disruption of his building project, the music mogul reportedly offered to pay for some free spa days to help them relax.
A source told The Sun that the X Factor boss flashed the cash when some local residents started to complain about the noise his renovations were causing. They said:
“He does feel bad for causing the neighbours trouble and has offered to buy them spa days to help them relax.”
Cowell is reportedly handing out a massive £1.2 million for the work on his luxurious American mansion. He sees his future in the country, especially as he prepares to launch his new US X Factor series next month and what better way to spend some of the £45 million he will reportedly earn for the Fox show this year, than to improve his living quarters.
The Sun reports that Simon will have the builders in, making his big home improvements, while he shoots The X Factor USA.
“He is redoing the entry way, changing all the windows as well as repainting and adding a new state-of-the-art movie theatre. He has done this so in future he can watch repeats of his shows as if he was in the audience,’ a source told The Sun
“The new look will cost roughly £1.2 million.”
The Californian property already boasts a private solarium, fully-equipped gym and spa and a huge pool.
