X Factor: Simon Cowell Reveals Why He Sacked Kate And Louis

X Factor LogoSimon Cowell has revealed why he had to let Kate Thornton and Louis Walsh go, in an interview with the Daily Star today.

For once Simon tried to play down the whole Mr Nasty image and admitted that the decision was not all his doing.

He revealed: “ITV wanted to make some changes to the show. They likened it to Coronation Street.

“You have to change and add to the cast every couple of years. It’s how you keep a show successful.”

When asked why he decided to let Louis go, Cowell said: “The honest answer is we tried to keep Louis.

“But he couldn’t commit to another season. He has a lot of things on the go, like the Boyzone reunion.”

Of the new-look show, Cowell added: “There will be four judges. I know there have already been a lot of names put about. But the decision hasn’t been made.

“However, it’s fair to say there are a number of people under consideration.”

Well done Simon for giving them the sack they were awful and Kate couldnt stop shouting for goodness sake. Its great you lowered the age to 14 however it would be better if it were 12! :)

Simon could have done us all a favour by SACKING HIMSELF as well, then using the time to attend some Human respect and decency classes. Kate wasnt one of his yes sir people so he had it in for her and it was clear he and Louis had reached the end of the road on the last series. Simon is a bully and when you are a powerful bully you squash and get rid of those you look down on and who wont jump to your every whim. Some nasty piece of work to have organising a TV show and being trusted with peoples lives and futures.Simon is simply the biggest headed bully around at present.Rod.

Good for Simon sacking Louis Walsh, being from Dublin and living in the States when I return home on holidays people tell me they don’t like him. Take it like a man Louis, live in the States for a while, it might toughen you up, you wuz.

What a load of crap! Louis had just been on the G. Norton show and said outright that whilst ITV were sacking him, Cowell was texting him telling him that he was his closest friend. What a spineless gimp. Louis did NOT have other obligations, Cowell is just too much of a coward to be responsible for his decisions.
