X Factor: Simon Cowell says Danyl Johnson needs to tell his story
Simon Cowell has blamed recent press stories about Danyl Johnson for his lack of support on the X Factor this week.
Since Danyl first made it to the live finals of the show, claims have been made that he has bullied fellow contestants, including Kandy Rain and Stacey Solomon.
Speaking on The Xtra Factor last night, Cowell announced:
“I think I’m going to have to get to the bottom of lots of the stories that are going around, people saying he is bullying them and stuff. I don’t believe them, but I think that they have an effect and we’re going to have to clear that up.
“People just don’t seem to like him. There have been stories written about him that people are not getting on with him, and he is going to have to put his side of the story across.”

Why is it taking him so long then, maybe because Simon has to scare the other housemates into backing him up first. We know that it would not be allowed to be said that his protogee has bullied anyone, we have already seen the power of the programme producers, since the memo went out about not being allowed to say anything bad about the Grime Twins, Dermot, Brian all those that previously thought they were a joke are suddenly loving them. So what will we get now the housemates all joining the Danyl fan club so as to not upset him, poor thing , Simon thinks Danyl is god so everyone else has to.

Danyl is a fantastic singer. We should not listen to the press, they get it wrong and make up stories to sell papers.I think that Cheryl has it in for Danyl, she has always disliked him, may be because he isn’t fawning all over her. She should grow up and stop trying to hog the limelight she is being so hypocritical with her tarty outfits and self promotion and face the fact that she isn’t a good singer so how can she judge others. She is arrogant i the extreme with a Fake personality, Fake hair, fake eyelashes and veneers on her teeth. At least Danyl can sing and has a personality.
Give Danyl a break. This show is supposed to be about talent. He was totally destroyed saturday night and looked close to tears. He has a hate campaign going about him – perhaps because he has the most talent! Personal attacks by the panel – who cannot actually get up there are sing live themselves really is not on. I have the British X factor format, rivalry between judges means that acts get criticised just unfairly as it is then all about each judge winning and not about the poor artist whose future is in their hands. Shame on you judges.
Danyl sung out of tune on Saturday and deserved to be booted, but of course the hard luck story and the sad face fooled the great British public into voting for him, shame on you all for being manipulated in this farce of a PR campaign.
I say good on Danni and Cheryl for having an opinion on him and in my opinion they are right.
Simon cannot bare to be wrong and will stop at nothing to keep his boy in the running. If I were his other acts I would probably wonder why I bothered turning up as Mr Johnson is quite clearly the chosen one.
After the puppy dog eyes, the crocodile tears and the out of tune singing, he looked pretty smiley with Jamie Archer in the line up at the end of Saturday’s show.
It’s time to wake up and not let Simon play you all for fools!!!

I don’t really like Danyl, he puts on an act and I couldn’t believe when he performed on saturday that he put his hand in his pocket when he was singing, it made me really mad! lool x

Everyone is allowed an opinion it does not make you an idiot because you do not like Danyl.
Personally I think Danyl is the weakest out of Simons acts and has the least personality. I agree he is milking the sympathy with his little boy hurt face you can see why he teaches drama. Simon is being very unprofessional this year in his craftiness at getting rid of the competition and also his treatment of his other acts he will sacrifice them for Danyl. Danyl appeared better than what he was at the beginning as he was the first act shown that could sing, but after that several acts were shown that could sing and some better so Danyl’s audition glory faded. Other acts have improved each week particularly Olly whereas Danyl sounds the same each week no matter what he sings.
This is my personal opinion, you have yours which I accept so please allow me mine.
