X Factor: Simon Cowell’s Mum Speaks Out
Simon Cowell’s mum has spoken this week and given her views on The MacDonald Brothers saying:
“The MacDonald Brothers are very nice.
“They have a certain appeal and I could understand lots of people voting for them.
“They are sweet but I don’t think I would go and buy their record and that’s what the whole thing is about.
“What Simon was saying, which is absolutely true, is that he didn’t think the boys were the type that were going to win the thing and sell records because they have not got that X Factor.”
When questioned about Simon’s claims that he is half Scottish she said:
“My father was Scottish and his surname was Dalglish.
“I think they were born in Edinburgh but I don’t really know. It was so many years ago.
“Simon was saying he was a quarter Scottish, then he said he was half Scottish but he’s a quarter Scottish.”

SIMON COWELLS MOTHER would do better if she told her son to show respect to the Mac donald brothers, he HAS INSULTED, BELITTLED AND BULLIED THEM ALL THE WEEKS OF THE FINALS. Maybe like her son she doesn’t ‘get’ that but I know MY MOTHER would have said that I was wrong to hurt, belittle and dismiss so insultingly 2 people who are only trying their best. HE HAS INFURIATED MASSES OF PEOPLE CALLED MacDONALD and MacDOUGALL in Scotland, insulted SCOTTISH people by saying they are only giving the lads a sympathy vote and must watch x factor with the sound down, DISGUSTING, UNPROFESSIONAL AND TOTALLY UNNECESSARILY ABUSIVE HAS HIS COMMENTS BEEN THAT IN ANY OTHER WORKPLACE ANYONE ELSE BEING LIKE THAT WOULD HAVE ‘HAD’ TO APOLOGISE, BE DISCIPLINED AND MAYBE EVEN LOSE THEIR JOB. The man is ignorant and clearly proves that success, influence, power and wealth dont always go hand in hand with decency respeact and good manners especially when in public and talking about others in public. I’d have had more respect for her intervention had she said HE HAD BEEN TOTALLY DIDCOURTEOUS TO THE LADS AND THEIR PARENTS.HE just believes he cant be wrong and if that behaviour makes other people like him then GOD help us in this world, its frightening really. Speaking of Mothers,what a wonderful Mother the MacDonald Brothers have, supportive ever smiling showing her pride in them as well she might, she has with their Dad instilled in them decency, respect and peliteness even when unjustly attacked by someone older who should be an example and know better, She has had to watch them take the disrespect and insults week after week,She is an amazing lady who has brought 2 great lads into the World and who know how to conduct themselves alone and when dealing with others in public. SIMON could learn a lot as to conducting yourself in public from this family,AND HE NEEDS TO.Rod,Newcastle

As for the daft goings on of Simon being 25% or 50% Scottish, none of that matters, he’s shown utter contempt for them and even if he was 100% Scots its very likely few would want him anyway.Rod,Newcastle
