‘X Factor’ bosses have chosen a Kelly Clarkson song for this year’s winner’s single.

The X factor winner will record Kelly’s first ever hit on December 20 – just four days after the show ends.

Many people have taken this song choice as an indication that Leona is expected to win this years show.

A source said: “It is a hard song for any artist. It would really suit a girl’s voice better – and of course Leona is the only girl left in the competition.”

The show’s bosses insist ‘A Moment Like This’ could be sung by either finalist.

A source said: “The winner’s song was actually recorded by a man on the demo tape. We are going to make arrangements so it will fit anyone’s voice.”

The whole thing is a bit sad really…there have got to be enough songs in the world without having to steal an American idol one. I wonder if next years American idol winner will record a version of Shayne Ward’s ‘That’s My Goal’?
