X Factor: Sinitta says Simon Cowell was happy with viewing figures
Simon Cowell’s wannabe girlfriend has revealed that he was delighted with the X factor viewing figures last Saturday. The show acheived 9.9 million viewers and an overall 48% share.
Talking to GMTV this morning, Sinitta said: “He was very happy with the ratings. He would have liked a few more people watching – so please turn up”.
When asked about the new format of the show Sinitta said: “I wasn’t sure at first about the audience having their say as well, but it really makes it.”
Sinitta also revealed that sh ehas tried out for and been knocked back from ITV’s Dancing On Ice three or four times to date.
She said: “I have auditioned for Dancing On Ice probably three or four times – and I just – I can’t skate! So I would love to do it.”

I don’t like the new format at all. I prefer a cappella versions instead of that playback thing with all the people screaming and laughing. It’s boring.
I hate the way the show tries to ridiculize most part of the contestants… I don’t think that’s fair for people.

I have to agree. Who cares what Sinitta thinks? I have to say, Dannii Minogue has been gracefully dismissive of Sinitta. I mean, literally, who is she?
She wasn’t deemed good enough to be a judge and really has no say on the show, despite what she thinks.
