X Factor: Sneak Peek at Marcus Collins’ album cover shoot and hear how Gary Barlow is helping things along! (VIDEO)
Just because The X Factor has finished does not mean that Marcus Collins has stopped work and if anything, the Liverpudlian star in busier than ever.
We have a great behind the scenes video of the handsome singer below, taking part in a photoshoot for the cover of his self titled debut album.
Collins loved the whole experience and all the dressing up and admitted:
I’m trying out all different sorts of styles and outfits today. I’m into my 50s, 60s but still contemporarying it up a bit!
He has another busy few months ahead, as rehearsals for the X Factor tour kick off this week and the concerts begin later this month. His first single ‘Seven Nation Army’ will be released on March 4th, with the album following a week later on March 12th and Marcus explained:
2012 is kicking off for me big time this year. I’m so excited! Already a lot of hard work’s gone in. We got an album together, the X Factor tour, the single. So much is going on.
I’ve been in the studio, writing and with different singers and different songwriters. They’ve really helped me piece together one of the best collectives of music that I’ve ever done. I’m really proud of the songs I’ve done up to now.
Thankfully Collins has had plenty of expert help along the way and he revealed that his former X Factor mentor Gary Barlow has been instrumental in putting his whole record together, adding:
Gary Barlow has been helping me produce my album, he’s been very involved in the song choice and helping me find my sound and working on perfecting it.
