X Factor sources have reported that Dagenham girl Stacey Solomon has dumped her fellow contestant Olly Murs, telling him that ‘it’s just not going to work!’

The People wrote that Stacey is still on the rebound from her ex boyfriend Aaron Barham, 21, whom she met while on holiday on a Greek island.

Just last week Stacey was crediting Olly with the fact that she was still on the ITV talent show, however a source told the newspaper:

“Stacey has very strong feelings for Olly but she has decided she doesn’t want to get heavily involved in another relationship for the time being.

“She has had her heart broken several times in her life and is very careful when it comes to boyfriends.

“She and Aaron went out for a while and were incredibly close. She was upset when they split and wants time to get over him. She just thinks it’s too soon for her and Olly.”

The source added: “This is the most important time of Stacey’s life and she is determined not to let a boy get in the way.

“This has been difficult for her but she knows she has done the right thing.”

Poor old Olly, ending up in the bottom two and getting dumped all in one week. Can’t do much for the confidence that!
