X Factor star Stacey Solomon has admitted that she wanted singing lessons before she entered the show.

The single mum said that she loved singing whist growing up, but only her mum believed in her potential.

Stacey told The Sun: “I wanted to get singing lessons but nowadays it’s so expensive and you have your priorities like food and water, so singing lessons are a bit down the line. I think I’d be so much more confident if I had singing lessons but I’m having them now.

“My mum always said I had a really nice voice but no-one else really thought that was true.”
