X Factor stories are the people who audition with a heartbreaking story to tell. Do we like them because they are talented? Do we put them through on sympathy? Is it a bit of both…we’d love to know what you think.

The second X Factor ‘Story’ and goosebump moment on tonight’s show comes in the form of 34 year old mum of two, Niki Evans.

Niki has always sang, though not professionally. She had not even considered auditioning for the X factor until her dad died earlier this year and she found the application form amongst his things…..she assumed the form was for her, but maybe her father was a secret performer as well?

Singing “I Will Always Love You”, the judges are visibly blown away by Niki’s performance, “I think you’ve got a great voice, just great, I absolutely loved your audition” says Simon, “I’m absolutely astounded” said Louis. An emotional Niki looks slightly shell shocked by the Judges comments as she sails through to Bootcamp.
