X Factor: The MacDonald Brothers Leave X Factor
Many people will think that it should have happened weeks ago, but tonight, The MacDonald Brothers were voted off the X factor show.
I had actually grown to like the boys - who wouldn’t! They seem like two really nice, down to earth fellas, but they just couldn’t match Ben and Leona’s talent. In saying that, neither can Ray!
I watched as the brothers performed Shang-A-Lang for the final time and knew that if they had performed like that the first time round they probably wouldn’t have been going home tonight.
It was a great final performance and I hope the boys do well in the future.

Yeah i agree Tabby Cat, the MacDonald brothers are nice guys
we ( the wife and myself) liked the second track they did tonight and thought that they have done really well.

Brian MacDonald was born on 28th November 1986 and Craig on 16th December 1985. I’ll miss you guys. I hope you guys get a recording contract.

From 100,00 applicants, the MacDonalds made the last 4,were the top group and won massive respect throughout. For all the ‘right’ reasons a good run of success should be theirs and will be, the world doesnt start and end with Simon Cowell,He only thinks it does ‘but’ he does owe the lads and their parents a public apology for his disrespectful and insulting unacceptable behaviour to them throughout the finals. I think it’s so sad that Simon Cowell obviously had the boys so supressed that they obviously weren’t showing us their full talent for the last few weeks. Their final performance was absolutely phenomenal and their personalities shone through. I really wish they’d performed like that earlier.
I also found Louis Walsh’s attitude towards them incredibly rude and condescending - he kept going on about Scotland voting for them. Here’s a newsflash Mr Walsh - IT WASN’T JUST SCOTLAND VOTING FOR THE MACDONALDS!!! Louis Walsh is an immature creep.
All in all I’d say we take our hats off to them - they’ve been dignified throughout, which is a lot more than we can say for the judges.
We love ‘em and wish ‘em all the best for long and happy careers in music.

To be fair to LOUIS he did give them the chance in the finals,he did go on about Scotland but he knew they were flying a talented flag for Scotland but of course the lads got votes from all over, however I do believe the mass of votes was from Scotland for them and LOUIS wanted to maximise that, he is a bit immature but I admire that in a man like Louis with his status and wealth, much better than smug arrogance and treating human beings like something on the bottom of your shoes like Simon does. The lads will do well, powers that be in Scotland will see to that,they are National heroes now.Rod,Newcsatle
