The X Factor is to release a range of branded products to a number of high street retailers later this year.

Simon Cowell is currently in talks with various outlets and the range will include toiletries,cosmetics,confectionary and electronic goods.

Toys, MP3 players along with karaoke machines will be launched with series No 4.

There is also a board game planned for Christmas.
