X Factor: Treyc Cohen is glad she was rejected by Cheryl Cole
Treyc Cohen has admitted that she has no hard feelings towards Cheryl Cole, after she first rejected her from her final three girls.
At judges houses, Cole sent Treyc home, only bringing her onto the live shows when she was allowed to choose a wildcard act.
Speaking to The News Of The World, the 26 year old said:
“I don’t think Cheryl made a mistake in not picking me straight away as a finalist – this has been my path to The X Factor.
“The four of us girls have completely different styles. My role is ‘little girl with the big voice’. It’s a compliment that I am here.”
Cohen wowed the judges last night, despite a sore throat, with her powerful rendition of Led Zeppelin’s ‘Whole Lotta Love’. After she sang, Simon Cowell raved:
It’s like a kitten who’s turned into a tiger in one week. The change is unbelievable.
This shows the potential that we can throw anything at you and you have literally transformed into a different person. Amazing.
