X Factor: Tulisa Contostavlos runs into problems with debut album because of Fazer split
Tulisa Contostavlos was supposed to be releasing her debut album in a matter of weeks, however it seems that the entire project may now be thrown into disarray.
The X Factor judge had been working on the record with her boyfriend and N-Dubz bandmate Fazer, however after their split earlier this month, insiders say that the release may now be delayed.
A source told The Daily Star that Fazer has now pulled back from the project due to his breakup from the singer and explained:
“Fazer was basically masterminding Tulisa’s whole album. He’s still planning to be involved but nowhere near to the extent he was supposed to be.
“The first single is done, which should still be out in the spring, but the chances are the album will be delayed now to later in the year.
“They are both understandably finding it hard working together so closely after the break-up.”
Tulisa and Fazer reportedly split after a series of rows during their recent holiday to the Maldives. The pair had been dating for a year and a half, but had only admitted to their relationship when she started work on The X Factor in 2011.
