X Factor: Tulisa Contostavlos to crack America, become the next Cheryl Cole and make millions through music, books and fashion!
Tulisa Contostavlos is said to have her eye on the main prize and is intent on trying to crack America.
The N-Dubz singer moved from the periphery of celebrity circles to the main frame last year, when she landed a job on the X Factor judging panel. Insiders say that now she is determined to continue her rise in stardom and wants to crack America and start making a name for herself in things other than TV.
The star is currently working on her debut solo album, but insiders say that US advisers have told her that she could also be successful in the world of fashion if she plays her cards right.
The People quote one executive as saying:
“If it all goes to plan you’ll be worth $6million in 18 months.”
It is claimed that record label Def Jam are hoping to sign the North London singer – who recently broke up with her boyfriend and former bandmate Fazer – and want to launch her as an edgy rival to popstars such as Rihanna.
The brunette beauty is in American at the moment and is said to have held a series of talks with labels and with a number of fashion designers, who want her to help promote their ranges.
An insider added:
“Tulisa is aware that record label Def Jam are keen on launching her solo career. She is working to become a multi-media brand. There are talks of a clothing brand, another perfume, a beauty range and even a calendar.
“She is working along the same lines as Cheryl Cole but much bigger.”
To top it all off, Contostavlos recently landed her first book deal and will soon begin work on releasing three publications. The 23 year old will pen an autobiographical account of her life so far, as well as two fictional novels.
It has been reported that Simon Cowell is keen to have her back on The X Factor later this year and has offered her a substantial pay rise to return. It was also announced this week that Tulisa will be performing at Wireless festival in July alongside Rihanna and Drake at Hyde Park. She tweeted:
I am hyped!!! My first solo festival performance has been announced. 7th July wireless festival!

But Cheryl with all her mistakes and weaknesses will always be one of a kind. Like Grace Kelly or Audrey Hupburn.
Yes she will definately go far,she has the looks,figure and a great singer,thought she was biggerb than cheryl anyway,as someone already pointed out cheryl is only really known for her mistakes and bad singing
