X Factor USA: Demi Lovato is fed up with speculation about her love life & One Direction’s Niall Horan!
Demi Lovato is wishing for a simpler time!
The X Factor USA judge took a break from her busy schedule this week to tell fans on Twitter that she has one ‘wish’ for the world and her career.
The blonde beauty was on set, waiting to begin work on The X Factor USA where she joins Simon Cowell, Britney Spears and L.A Reid as a judge.
She told her Twitter followers that she was dreaming of years gone by, where stars were recognised for their talent and not their love lives and tweeted fans saying:
“I really wish we could go back in time when artists were known for their work. Not their personal lives.”
Of course speculation over Demi’s personal life never stops.
In recent months she has been linked to One Direction star Niall Horan and despite both singers insisting they are just ‘good friends’ the press frenzy surrounding them never stops. It has also been claimed that she is in the process of rekindling her love with old flame Wilmer Valderrama.
However, we’d say that if the rumours and gossip really bother Lovato that much, then she probably shouldn’t be letting Simon Cowell use it as a way of drawing viewers into his show. Just watch this promo here where he teases her about the 1D hunk and she certainly seems happy to joke in front of cameras about the issue.
But then Demi does owe Simon big time. Not only has he hired her for his hit talent show, but it’s been reported that the X Factor boss is also planning to break her career in the UK and is starting with having his British boyband Union J cover her song for their winner’s single if they triumph next week.
You can’t have it every way Demi. You can’t use your love life to get publicity when you want it, then refuse to talk about it when you don’t. When it’s out there, it’s out there!
