Actress and pop star Selena Gomez (who also happens to be dating Justin Bieber!) has revealed that she would love to do a duet with Cheryl Cole but absolutely could NOT be an X Factor judge.

In the interview video below, the 18 year old star was asked who she would most like to collaborate with and replied:

If I could do a duet with anyone it would be Cheryl Cole or Jason Mraz.

However, singing with Cheryl is as close to the X Factor as she’s going to get. It has been rumoured for a while that Selena may be joining the judging panel for Simon Cowell’s new American X factor series, but she insists she could never do it as she hates being mean to people. She added:

“I couldn’t be an X Factor judge! I just couldn’t send people home, it would be too much for me! My dream is that I would perform on The X Factor or even just to be an audience member. I don’t think I could do the judging part.”
