X Factor USA: Simon Cowell offers Beyonce $500 million to become a judge?
Simon Cowell wants some star power on his new X Factor USA panel and has reportedly been offering Beyonce the big bucks.
The music mogul sacked Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger from the show earlier this week, leaving just himself and record label boss L.A. Reid on the judging panel for the 2012 series.
However, the TV boss isn’t resting on his laurels and sources say he is already on the hunt for two new judges, one of who may be new mum Beyonce.
Insiders claim that Cowell has offered the ‘Single Ladies’ hitmaker a whopping $500 million to join his reality TV show. It’s a five year deal, which if signed by Jay Z’s wife, will see her taking home $100 million per series.
A source told Media TakeOut: “Simon wants a big name female star on the panel.
“Mariah is good, but she’s not that hot today. He wants Beyonce because that would immediately give him the bounce needed to beat American Idol.”
Mariah Carey’s husband Nick Cannon recently denied reports that his wife would be joining The X Factor, saying that she is too famous for the show.
Other stars being tipped as new judges include Katy Perry, Nicki Minaj and Tulisa Contostavlos.

WHITNEY HOUSTON!!!!! She would add a boost cause people would watch to see how she acts and it would be great to come off filming her new movie and add to her comeback!
I think onika and mariah would be great for the show because they know what it takes to be and become a star so they would be a great fit for the replacement and lets admit it,it takes a star to know a star and it also takes takes one hell of a person to make the decition and if it was me i would put onika and mariah as judges good luck on your decition and keep me updated and hope to see you guys someday because I been wanting to go on the show and try to become what i’ve allways been wishing i could be on the out side I’m confident that i have what it takes to make it and be what people want to see but i guess i will just have to see about that now won’t we…love you alllll!!!!!!!lol
I Love the idea of Beyonce, she has what it takes in her music career to become the next X Factor USA Judge and think she would be Awesome, and as one of the comments above, you need to be a star to be able to know another. She is not only beautiful,but I think would have her talents shine through and be able to do well with whatever group she ended up with Great idea Simon for thinking of her. Mariah would be great too, she is also Beautiful, has lot’s of experience,I think she would be one of my first choices other than Beyonce.Mariah would be another one to consider. She has always been one to look up to,lot’s of experience, married as we know to Nick Cannon, current and would also do well with different groups and judging.Other ideas more current or thoughts bring on some music people like Josh Groban, wow what pipes he has and think he would be a great judge, I have seen him in concert and he has one of the most amazing voices, Now that’s one to pull out of the hat or to think about. Just try to catch him inbetween tours lol. There are so many to think of like Whitney, but not sure about her current stuff going on, yet I do agree she has lot’s of experience and although she has had a rough past, bring her back in the spot light, keep her clean and I honestly think she would do great. Forgive and forget hopefully. Sad past but Voice is incredible if she still has one. She is one to think about and would do good with judging; These are just a few thoughts
