Cheryl Cole at X Factor USA auditions in LA

Simon Cowell was reportedly unimpressed with Cheryl Cole’s outfit at last week’s X Factor USA auditions and has ordered her to meet with some LA stylists asap.

The music mogul apparently told the former Girls Aloud singer that he wasn’t a fan of her big hair and purple trousers and wants her to work harder on her appearance at future outings.

A source close to Cowell told the Daily Star:

“Obviously Cheryl is a gorgeous woman, but her purple flare look wasn’t very popular.

“The level of glamour expected by American audiences is much higher than in the UK.

“Here, women in TV are groomed to within an inch of their lives.”

They added: “Cheryl is planning to meet with several stylists in LA in a bid to find her perfect match.

“She is very independent and doesn’t like being told what to wear, but these are Simon’s orders so she doesn’t have much choice.”
