X Factor USA: Will Charlie Sheen become one of Simon Cowell’s 23 judges?
Simon Cowell has admitted that he is struggling to choose new judges for his US X Factor series.
The 51 year old star is said to have been inundated with requests from celebrities wanting to take part in the show, after they say the hugely popular promo airing in the break of last month’s Superbowl.
It had been thought that Cowell would have announced his official lineup by now, but speaking to Jay Leno last night the music mogul admitted that he just can’t choose between the stars.
He said:
I can’t make up my mind. I’ve been meeting all these people every day and I like them and at the moment I could end up with about 23 judges on this panel. One contestant, 23 judges!
When asked to comment on rumours about Usher joining the show Simon responded:
Maybe. Yeah I like Usher. He’s good.
And on who else is in the frame he added:
Paula Abdul, Charlie Sheen ….
Please let him be joking!!!

23 judges……that’s nuts. Probably not. Not after the headlines he’s had recently. Unless he fancies the odd cocaine every now and then.
PLEASE PLEASE let Paula Abdul be one of the judges . Her unpredictable emotional behavior is what makes me watch! She flurts and fights with cowell. She gets her feeling sheer by him and pouts. It is so freaking entertaining to watch. Plus, she would actually be a good mentor. She’s been in the business forever and gave people like Cuba Goodings and keanu reeves their start. She can spot talent and the x factor n people.
