X Factor: W4 Make A Great Impression!
One of the (few) talented acts to appear on tonight’s X Factor premiere will ve a five piece girl group W4. Can I just ask why on earth they chose W4 when there are five of them. Simon Cowell etc didn’t seem to notice, but it bugged the hell out of me.
Anyway, the Welsh girl group sang Heaven by Bryan Adams, wowing all the judges except of course Mr Cowell. He branded them “unoriginal” but Dannii Minogue strongly disagreed.
She exclaimed:
“I absolutely disagree with you. The unity and your (W4) energy is amazing. It’s like I want to be in your gang, I want to go wherever you go next cos you look like you’re going to have fun!”
So the girls are through to the next stage, ones to watch out for I think.

Hi, to anyone who is confused by W4’s name when there are 5 of them. It is actually because it has nothing to do with the number of girls in the group. The band formed and met in Chiswick and the postcode for Chiswick is W4 hence why they are called W4.

also….. they are not a welsh band. if you look they are from all parts of the uk hense them wearing flags in their audition and stating it to dermot.
they are doing excellent now by the way…. watch out for them in 2008!!!!!!!!!!!!
