So I am in two minds about Danyl Johnson’s awful performance tonight. Danyl took to the stage and really should have excelled at Aerosmith’s ‘Don’t Wanna Miss A Thing’, but he was out of tune, out of time, off key and just pure terrible for the whole first verse.

Before his performance we were bombarded with images of Danyl crying, told he is more hated than Hitler, and even Sinitta felt the need to tweet about his emotional state. I felt manipulated before he sang and when he cocked up on such a massive scale I found myself wondering if he did it on purpose.

Did Danyl mess up and try to do the whole puppy dog thing as a mean of scoring more votes? Or was he actually that nervous tonight?
