X Factor: Watch Out For Kyle Campbell
So today we are bringing the good, the bad and the really bad from this Saturday’s X Factor and giving you some idea of what you can expect to see this Saturday night.
One of the not so good – oh who am I trying to kid, he was really really bad – singers on this week’s show is 16 tear old Kyle Campbell.
Kyle has spirit I’ll give him that. He pranced onto the Glasgow stage and declared his love for all things Cheryl Cole and Girls Aloud, before announcing that he was going to sing their track ‘Untouchable’.
Simon asked him to change the song, stating that he didn’t like it but Kyle stuck to his guns insisting, ‘I picked it because I liked it!’ But maybe he should have taken Mr C’s advice.
Kyle sang the song in a falsetto voice that made him sound more Mickey Mouse than Nadine Coyle. The whole thing was painful to listen to and no one would have been surprised if the auditorium had been invaded by all the neighbourhood dogs, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang style.
Cheryl gave Kyle a yes purely for his musical taste but the other three judges saw sense and sent him home. Simon did offer some constructive advice though, he told Kyle to go away and become a manager or an actor instead.
Make sure to check back here or our forum after the show airs and let us know what you thought of Kyle’s performance.
