On tonight’s X Factor results special, the final 10 acts opened the show with a group performance.

Tonight they sang the upbeat Alphabeat track, ‘Fascination’ which is a fun song, but the X Factor contestants made it extra cheesy. The fact that the whole thing was completely pre-recorded, does make a bit of a farce out of the fact that this is a singing competition and the only lesson learned from tonight’s shitty group performance was that John and Edward do look like that other famous Irish duo, Zig and Zag – didn’t they have that crap tufty hair as well? Actually there was a second lesson too, just because you are miming, doesn’t mean you need to over-exaggerate very lip movement Danyl!

Alphabeat’s Fascination never sounded cheesier, did it ladies and gentlemen?
