Next week’s X Factor theme will be songs from the big screen….in other words, Movie Week. Holly Willoughby confirmed the decision in a chat with Yvie Burnett and Brian Friedman on tonight’s Xtra Factor.

Brian said the big dance number will go to John and Edward Grimes. Obviously the judges think that if they distract us with big routines, pyrotechnics and hot backing dancers, we’ll miss the fact that Jedward can’t actually sing. In their favour, it has been a sound strategy so far.

Appearing on Sunday night’s results show will be The Black Eyed Peas and Leona Lewis.
