X Factor Week 6: Queen Week
This weeks X Factor theme will be Queen Week. A strange choice considering Rock Week was just two weeks ago and given that the celebrity guest this Sunday will be Shakira, surely a latin theme would be more appropriate? However the sources suggest that John and Edward Grimes will be singing Radio Gaga and that does seem like the big production number which Louis would assign to them.
A show source told The Sun: “Simon made the decision late on Sunday night to go with something more theatrical.
“He loves Queen and knows that the wannabes will recognize at least one of their hit songs.
“He wants bigger entrances and bigger performances from all of them.
“It doesn’t get much bigger than pretending to be Queen’s late singer Freddie Mercury.”
Of course Simon Cowell could be accused of favouritism by choosing this theme. It suits his acts much more than any others.
One source said: “This change of plan has come as no surprise to many of us as this benefits Simon’s acts.
“Jamie will be brilliant singing a Queen song, as will Danyl.
“But it might prove difficult for Stacey Solomon or Lloyd Daniels.
“I’m sure the twins will have no problem with it.”
What Queen songs would you choose for the contestants? Surely Danyl Johnson has got to sing Bohemian Rhapsody?

Lloyd – This week will probably be it for him, Queen are thunderous when it comes to vocals, Lloyd I’d have him take a stab at Crazy Little Thing Called Love or ahem, Delilah.
Danyl – Who Wants to Live Forever, The Show Must Go On, Innuendo (my personal choice)or of course Bohemian Rhapsody, or as a big eff off to the press Death on two Legs.
Joe – If Cheryl doesnt give him Somebody to Love I shall cry.
Olly – Bit of a jack the lad, but Another One Bites The Dust might be a good one.
Jamie – Fat Bottomed Girls or Hammer to Fall, I Want It All and Fat B..oh I said.
Stacey – Oh dear, uhm Love of My Life? or White Queen? or even Killer Queen, no idea.
Twins – pfft Radio Ga Ga? lol

I think she’d be amazing.
Simon is a prick — and until audiences decide they are not going to let him exercise his overly apparent belief he is a “god” nothing is going to change. He is a hypocritical, two-faced, ignorant ass who is going to manipulate this show to win. The sad part is Danyl would be just like him given the opportunity. I didn’t think this at first. But, check out his reactions at Casttv.com when the last shows results were read. When Joe’s name is announced, the camera pans down the row in time to catch Danyl whispering something to Simon who has a look of utter disgust on his face ad Joe is congratulated by Cheryl. But as telling as that shot is catch the look when Lloyd’s name is announced. Utter disgust turns to sheer hatred. Interesting, too, is his response to Danyl and Olly but doesn’t seem to appreciate Jamie’s hug. Why? Because Jamie had the balls to stand up to him. Does anyone recall Simon telling Joe “they have found a popstar” and his “No Regrets” song was brilliant and his Whitney song was “note perfect”? In all subsequent shows he has been nasty and his comments have been really stupid things like how he sways? Did I miss something in between? Like I know why he doesn’t like Jamie. I just can’t stand the sight of him anymore. Ratings have been declining in the US — maybe Simon will disappear.
Danyl can not sing in tune, the first week listen to the group song, since then the group songs have all been mimed!! lmao, singing competition my ars!
