X Factor: Why Is Dannii Minogue Crying?
As I watched Rachel Hylton perform Rule The World on X Factor tonight, the camera kept cutting across to shots of Dannii Minogue weeping.
Before Rachel came on stage, Dannii couldn’t introduce her because she was so upset and I’m not really sure why?
Louis Walsh did have a bit of a go at her about stealing JLS’ song, but really she should be used to him being a sniping little moan. She had first pick of songs, she chose the best song for her act, she did what she is being paid to do.
Is she out for the sympathy vote for her acts? Is she really that sensitive? I don’t really like Dannii at the best of times and I find it hard to have sympathy for her tonight. Am I being too hard? Leave your comments below!

I like Dannii but I cannot stand Louis. He is petulant and a boor. He brings nothing to the competition except hi over inflated ego. He is the reason that I rarely watch X Factor now.

Louis admited last year that he BULLIED danni with sharon, so they get rid of sharon and bring i know it all irritating chreyl wag cole,simon then sticks himself to cheryl and once again danni is out in the cold! louis is bully and if danni felt secure then she wouldnt feel intimidated by him by she isnt as simons not there for her anymore, cheryl too self obsessed to think of anyone elase so danni will fell vulnerable when being attacked by bully louis, its shocking that simons allows such nonsense makes me sick, i think dannis the only geniue one there

Louis is a bully, and Cheryl was no better – she just sat there laughing at the situation.
Dannii is probably most annoyed at herself that she cried on screen and showed emotion, once she started she couldn’t stop. I suspect other things have been happening backstage, as she wouldn’t cry for being accused of song stealing.
Get rid of Louis.

I think the judges should learn the word “professionalism” and keep their bickering to the Creche! As far as I could see, Louis Walsh threw his toys out of the pram, when Dannii chose the song he wanted to choose for his act. Stop moaning, Louis or Santa won’t come down your chimney!!!!

I actually felt really bad for Dannii tonight. Nobody gets that choked up over nothing, and to see Louis looking so damned smug while she was unable to speak made me angry.
From having the winning contestant last year, it seems like Dannii has really fallen out of favour among the judges. Is she qualified to guide a pop act? I don’t know. But for someone who was just doing her job to get bullied so harshly just isn’t on.
So she may not be my favourite judge, but she doesn’t deserve to be treated that way.

i have complained to OFCOM as what happend today was bullying please also complain go onto the website http://www.ofcom.org.uk as Louis should not be allowed to bully danni for the second year running! last year she had sharon and louis to put up with! his a pathetic little man

Dannii wants to buck her ideas up a bit, sobbing like a little girl because an Irish git gives her a bit of a ear bashing.
It’s all staged and planned anyway so none of it is real. Simon spends a lot of time clearly saying stuff so as to make better Telly, Cheryl is the only one who comes across as unscipted and for real.

Dannii Rocks, she has put up with crap for two years but still remains the best judge winning last year and the best success with the over 25s so far. Cheryl is only interested in flirting with Simon and from her recent performance cant sing live so has no right to judge anyone! Louis is pathetic and Simon is so shallow fawning over Cheryl and casting Dannii aside….go Ms Minogue xx

I think it was fairly obvious that Danni was genuinely distressed. I agree with Elby – it was probably a combination of things. It was difficult to watch someone be so upset, particularly as no-one seemed concerned about her.
It’s a shame that Rachel got voted off – I don’t think people are prepared to let her forget her past. People are very quick to judge. Rachel has a real soul voice – her performance of the Nina Simone song the other week was amazing – she is best suited to that genre – but her voice is not particularly commercial at the moment, which is what it’s all about.
As for Louis Walsh – his comments are often ridiculous and he is the only one of the judges who has no knowledge of vocal or performance technique.

I think Danni was genuinely upset. will all of you people who say she is just doing it to save her acts shut up. You could see from the beginning of the show something was up. She had tears in her eyes through most of the performances and cried when she gave her comment about rachel. I think something has being going on behind the scenes as someone previously said. she must be a sensitive person, Louis is a bully, hes smarmy and whenever JLS come on he stands up bigging up himself. Louis thinks hes great and always has to have a go. He tries to have goes at SImon too but simon gives him grief back becuase hes tough. Poor danni i hope she is okay next week and tries to ignore it. (Louis obviosly is not going to apologise OR stop having a go)

I don’t think you’re being too hard on Danni, but the reason she was so upset is because like she said, she didn’t appreciate the fact that Louis told the entire nation that she “stole” the song from JLS, which is not the way it happened. I think along with all the drama between her and Rachel in previous weeks, it’s all just taking it’s toll on the poor woman.
I hope the rumours about a “younger male” supposedly replacing Danni next year will replace Louis instead! He always butts in when the judges are speaking even though he’s had his turn to speak, he is childish and a brat. Never ever thought I’d see a grown man display such ridiculous behaviour… Anyway – GO ALEXANDRA!!!!!!!

I just wanted to give dannii a big bear hug last night or hoped at least someone else would have! I hated seeing her being upset but its been a long time coming. last year she had the nastiness of sharon to contend with and this series louis has been chipping and chipping at her, willing her to break. I think its an absolute disgrace. I used to like louis but i am rapidly going off him – he needs to grow up. i only wish now simon had stuck by his decision a few years ago and sacked louis for good!
While i’m on a rant i have to add that all that is said about dannii in the press disgusts me – she is constantly the butt of everyones jokes and for what? having botox? well who in the world of show business hasn’t? Dannii if you ever stumble upon this i just want to let you know that you are a beautiful woman inside and out – dont let them grind you down, they are nothing but pathetic bullies!

I don’t like Dannii or Louis but I felt that Dannii’s performance yesterday was immensely self-indulgent and ridiculous. Whilst it may be true that Louis was being a “bully”, constant jibes are thrown about between the judges and most manage to take it in their stride. Louis does fail to make constructive criticism in the same way that Simon does but it is usually amusing as it just reflects poorly on Louis – and usually results in the more quick-witted of the judges tearing him down instantly. The fact that Dannii made such a fuss really detracted attention from Rachel and her performance and was probably detrimental to her success. Having said that, I didn’t like Rachel and I’m glad that she went out.
I think that Dannii adds very little to the show as she has neither talent or likability. She needs to be gotten rid off and hopefully this acted as the final push.

EVERYONE in the media has been giving Dannii such a hard time this year. she is in nearly evey magazine and not much of it has been positive, has every one forgotten that she not only won last year’s show but came second too? even with everyone being soo nasty to her she has kept her composure and stayed professional over the last few months. So when Louis started on her about something to do with her professional life I think it probably was all just too much for her. People need to give her a break and leave her alone. she is a beautiful, strong and admiral woman.

Will everybody get off Danni’s case so she cried big deal. Shows she cares. Louis is bullying Danni and it should not be allowed to carry on.I’m a bit dissapointed with Cheryl I thought she could of shown Danni some support last night when Danni cried.A few weeks ago when Laura went and Cheryl was crying who leant over to comfort her……Danni.
Just read in todays paper Simon wants Danni out and another male judge in. Big mistake in my opinion if anyone has to go it should be Louis and replace him with Sharon Osbourne.Louis is making the show look bad and people are turning off.

Louis is a bully – I hope he is proud of himself reducing a woman to tears. It was nice to see Simon act the gentleman for once and show her some support. My guess is that JLS ended up in the sing-off becuase of the way Louis behaved and for no other reason.

what i find bad is how she is being picked on, cheryl has it easy with the girls – i dont trust her she just sat there with the biggest grin on her face while danni was upset, that show alot for someones personality. Plus what kind of a role model is she she must be a size 0 its disgusting and not setting a good example to young girls.

I see so many comments on here that really shouldn’t be posted. Speculation and things people have just made up. Who says Danni is jealous of anyone? I think she probably loves her sister more than envies her.
How does anyone know how upset Danni was or if she was bullied beforehand?? I love Cheryl..she CAN sing live, is beautiful and is genuine in her responses to the acts and Danni has had a long career, BEFORE Kylie on Home and away. And actually..I like Danni’s songs. Who Do you Love Now, Put The Needle on it….2 good dance songs. Leave her alone…

Louis is a bully and has been bullying Daanni the whole series, then having to read she is being sacked in the press no wonder she cried. Cheryl should have showed some feeling and spoke to her at least Simon stuck up for her, when you are being cold shouldered all the time it gets to you. Louis is a rubbish judge and really gets on my nerves, for this reason I do not want JLS to win, unfair I know but the man would be impossible, the way he kept on at Simon how he should vote I thought he would send JLS home, not that it would have mattered as Rachel would have had the lowest votes and still gone. Please get rid of Louis next year, Danni has been a good judge, she put in the most hours last year and works hard this year. Beware next year Cheryl if there is a new judge you will be pushed out and will not like it and will know how Danni feels, you could have at least helped her this year she tried hard to be friends with you but you are more busy sucking up to Simon.

My guess is that Danni cried as she knew that Rachel was going to get the chop whatever kind of performance she gave ( it was her best though ) . I don’t believe that bullying had anything to do with it , as all the judges know that they are only playacting in their chosen roles – thats why Louis was brought back , as a foil for Simon . Danni should have enough experience of tv and fame to know how the manipulation game works . The difference is that both Danni and Cheryl end up caring about some of their acts , while Louis and Simon , being professionals in the hiring /firing game have long since developed hearts of stone .

Dannii jealous of Cheryl? have you heard Cheryl sing live? That’s right she sang live on X Factor and sounded horrific!!! Sarah Harding put the whole of Girls Aloud to shame when they performed. I’ve heard Dannii sing live and she can hold a note believe me. Why else would she have done the lead role in a West End musical.
Anyway to the matter at hand, Louis was vile on Saturday night, as ever being the bitchy queeny person that he is.
The way Dannii gets treated on the X Factor is appalling.
Jealous of her sister? I really don’t think so. Dannii is really proud of her sister. I don’t think jealousy comes anywhere near it.
I’ve met Dannii Minogue and she is the most grounded person i have ever met. She’s an absolutely beautiful person that has alot of time for anybody.
To be honest though out of all four judges there is only Dannii and Cheryl that genuinely care for their acts.

I used to think Louis was an ok bloke and was glad when Simon brought him back to the show. But he has turned into an obnoxious boar and a lot of his comments are really silly and childish for a grown man.
His treatment of Dannii Minogue was disgraceful.
Simon should catch himself on and get rid of him again in the next series.

What?! I cannot actually believe people feel sorry for Dannii, honestly! I used value her comments but since the start of this series she has proved that she does not have a clue about her acts (Rachel), speaks in the most absurd language (her bizarre catch phrases – who even speaks like that?!) and is one of the most hugely attention-seeking characters on TV (sobbing during Rachel’s song). I did have some admiration for the fact that she has (so far) seemed unfazed by the georgeous girlie on her left, but the rest of her behaviour just eclipses this. She is desperate and absolutely pathetic.

Danni Minouge is great. She does a good job and really cares about her acts, its clear and genuine. Louise is a pathetic irshman who acts tough but is weak as p**s like most of the irsh. I live in Europe and watch the show and I think the british media is disgusting and pathetic. Hate the X Factor, LOVE AMERICAL IDOL, MUCH BETTER SINGERS . Think Danni Minouge is much better than the show

Hello all..
It’s becoming more and more apparent that we all need to develop patience, and to put other people first.
Some people are great at this, but a lot of us have become so self-centered that it’s difficult to see past our own egos.
Just look at how the media is functioning, to constantly ridicule.
It’s not an easy things to do, but we need to start somewhere.
