This year’s X Factor winner will have to perform on Sky One’s awards show The Millies, just 28 hours after the X Factor final.

The Millies were thought up by Prince Charles to honour the members of the British armed forces and civilians involved with the forces. The awards, known as “Millies” are chosen by a select panel of ten judges, made up of national figures and military chiefs and awarded during the televised show.

A source told The Sun: “This is a really important night for the soldiers so it’s great that we’ll have the X Factor winner there.

“Many soldiers are big fans of the show, just like everyone else in Britain. So it’s a good treat for them.”
