X Factor Winners Single: Hallelujah
I know this sounds weird but I have already pre ordered my copy of this years X Factor winners single, Hallelujah
For the first year ever I like all three acts in the final and whilst I would love Alexandra to win, if Eoghan Quigg or JLS took the crown I think I would still like to have their record.
Last year I left it too late, ordered from Amazon five days after the winner was announced and the single sold out so quickly that I didn’t get a copy until mid January, so this year I got in quickly, preordered a copy and here’s hoping I’ll have the cd in time for Christmas. The best bit is, if I don’t like it I can always stick it in my daughters stocking. She’ll never know!

diana vickers would of sang this song the best. alexandra is gonna win and go nowhere wi this. she is like a bad version of leona lewis

i slightly agree with mark…. diana’s version would have been the best, simply because this is her genre but i don’t think that alex will go nowhere…. it is quite clear that she has the best voice left… but she is very similar in song choices to Leona… but i can see her doing something different to ms. lewis!
Interesting how people see things differently! I don’t agree that Alexandra’s song choice has been similar to Leona’s, as I can’t remember Leona moving around the stage and doing anything like Candy Man or Please Don’t Stop the Music. In fact – I can’t specifically remember any of the songs Leona sang in the competition. I’ve always had the feeling that even though Leona has a good voice, I’d be bored to tears at one of her concerts. I get the totally opposite feeling about Alexandra and I will always remember her Beyonce and Toni Braxton renditions! With Leona, they play on her angelic looks and give her safe angelic material but Alexendra’s stuff is more risky and risque! Like Vivian, I think Alexandra does have the best voice left in the competition but I’d extend it to say that along with Laura and Ruth Lorenzo, it’s probably among the best voice in the history of the competition. Even Rachel had an amazing voice – she just wasn’t consistent and profiled a bit rough around the edges.
2008 was definately in a league of it’s own though. Let’s hope it’s set a minimum standard for future years. I didn’t think I’d say this but Cheryl Cole really has upped the game!
