* ‘Proud to be British’ is an understatement for Zyta. Zyta named her daughter ‘Elizabeth’ after the British Queen!
* Zyta came to Britain in 1995 and says this is the only country where the people are friendly, encouraging and you can believe you can make something of yourself.
* Zyta’s musical influences are gospel, classical and jazz and most of her experience has been singing at church or with community groups. She has been singing for about 10 years.
* Zyta is obsessed with The X Factor. She has prepared for this audition by watching the tips the judges give to the auditionees – like it’s a free singing lesson. After so many years of watching it she feels she is ready to come on and win it.
* Zyta is not married but she has two children, Bethal 15, and Elizabeth, 12.
